I went to Daikokuya ramen in little tokyo the one time I was in LA and it was great. there's lots of cool shops around there as well

I'll probably forget by the 7th to send you my paper but between the two of us we'll probably figure it out. I'm near the end of my term right now (which is why i forgot to use flounder for 2 weeks) so I am also feeling pretty busy rn. thanks for showing interest in my work, hopefully it's worth the wait

basically i spent the first 2 years of covid volunteering (and eventually working) at a food bank type place and doing some homeless outreach (we had a contract to go around the city and give out meals to people living outside) and i met her through there and she took pity on me as she is rich and has a carriage house on her property. originally she charged me $150/mo but then encouraged me to go back to school and stopped charging me rent after i got accepted. so basically im just the absolute luckiest poor bitch ever.

i have 2 space heaters (provided by my landlady) but she lets me stay here for free and so i don't like using her electricity for heating. also the wood stove is extremely effective at heating the place compared to the space heater, and plus it makes me feel cool to "put a fire on" when im cold. and if i ever have anyone over that im trying to impress they can see the boxes of chopped firewood sitting in the corner.
